2 Weeks to Go!!

We had our final appt. with the high risk baby doctor today and everything looked good! The baby is weighing 6 lbs. 11 oz. right now and the fluid around him looked great! The doctor is estimating that if we make it to Sept. 8th (the scheduled c-section date) that our baby boy will weigh about 7 lbs. 6 oz. I have been feeling good--just uncomfortable!! I've had some mild contractions and pressure--but nothing to get excited about. So, now we just wait...

A little Shiner

Kieran had a little mishap with a toy bin yesterday. He was actually moving the toy bin to the couch so that Claire (the 7 month old I babysit) couldn't get into it and somehow he fell and hit his eye(s) right on the edge. You can see from the pictures below that it gave him 2 little red/purple eyes and a bump on his nose. After the incident, I gave him some medicine for pain and we put the boo boo bunny on it--all was well in his world again!

Locked In!

Kieran has known how to open the doors in our house for some time now but he recently figured out how--or gotten the man power--to open the door leading out to the garage. He has happily opened the door a couple of times by himself and walked right outside!

But, we fixed that problem with this:

Can I just say how much I love child safety products? You wonder how our parents raised us without them?! But, Kieran has also figured out how to take the child safety plugs out of the electrical outlets--geesh!
