Dentists in the Making....

The boys recently spent a day working on their

dentistry (is that even a word?!) skills...

Kieran had received this play-doh dentist set for his birthday last year and then Kiptyn received if for Christmas! Everyone has their own tools, their own space at the table, there is no fighting---I'm pretty sure we need 2 of everything!

Kiptyn just wanted to twirl his play-doh around the battery operated drill!

We even put braces on our guy!

I think "orthodontist" sounds much better ($$) than "dentist" anyway!

A Tale of Two Frogs...

One day I sent the boys off to spend the day with dad--there was no school and it was Chuck's day off. They went to their favorite place to eat--Buffalo Wild Wings--or, as the boys call it "Chicken Flies." Then they went and did a little shopping and came home with these....

Meet "Amanda" (Kiptyn's) and "Spiderman" (Kieran's)

They're water dwarf frogs--or something like that. Very easy to care for and you pretty much just look at them--which is very entertaining when you feed them and they start fighting for the food!

Clean the tank every few months, never take the frogs out of their water environment and feed them 4 tiny pebbles of food 2x a week. Simple Enough!

I'm not a big reptile, amphibian or insect type of person, but I guess I should somewhat get used to those sorts of things with boys around..??

Or maybe not.

The Big 60!

We celebrated my dad's 60th birthday this weekend with close family and friends! It was a very fun time and I'm so blessed to have a great dad in my life! So thankful for all that God has done in the life of my parents!!

There is much to celebrate and much to be thankful for!

10 Years!!

Celebrating 10 wonderful years of marriage to this amazing man today!

I can remember this day, ten years ago, like it was yesterday! Surrounded by family and friends, we took the vows, exchanged the rings, sealed it with a kiss and began our new life together! We said those words "for richer for poorer, in sickness and in health and for better or worse" and we've stayed true to those words ever since! God has brought us through some tough times and blessed us beyond what we could think or imagine! To this day, I can hardly believe that I am married to such a great man who is wonderful to me and equally wonderful to our 3 children. I am so thankful for him and all that he is and all that he does for our family. I knew he was great back then and I still know it today!

Looking forward to what the next 10 years has for us, because with God as our center and each other by our sides, we can handle it!
