Bear Cousins

Last week, we kept my niece and nephew for a few days and Kieran loved having two extra playmates around! They were outside a lot and as you can see from the pictures, they were in their swimsuits most of the time!

The kids got along great and Eden was my little helper! Eden can't wait to have Kieran and Kiptyn come spend the night at her house and I'm thinking that could be arranged!!

On a different note, the flash on my camera quit working and it has to be sent in to get fixed. So, I'm without a camera for 2 weeks--which means I'm on blog vacation until then! ha!

Slip N Slide

Kieran recently had some fun with our neighbors on their slip n slide. He wasn't too sure at first but the bigger girls helped him get the hang of it and then he was hooked!

Special Weekend

So, it's time for me to play a little bit of catch up with the blog!

This past weekend we celebrated Father's Day and Kiptyn's Baby Dedication at our church. First let me say how blessed I am to have my own father and a great daddy for my two boys! Both my dad and Chuck love the Lord, love their families and it is a priviledge to know them!

Kiptyn was dedicated to the Lord on Sunday morning--along with 6 other baby boys! We had some family, friends and neighbors join us at church to share in this special occasion! Chuck grilled out at our house after the service and it was a great day! Below are some photos taken on Sunday. (The flash on my camera quit that morning, so thankfully my father-in-law had his camera there to take pictures!)

Block Party 2010

Two years ago when Chuck and I were looking to purchase our 1st house, we looked at several houses in this area and finally bought our little gray and white house that we felt was perfect for our family! Not only did God bless us with a great house but our neighbors have been a huge blessing to our family and we're so thankful for their friendships!

Every summer, our street holds a block party and last night was the annual event once again:

Memorial Weekend

We had a nice time seeing family and friends over the holiday weekend. We celebrated my niece's 6th birthday, enjoyed good food, did some shopping and stayed up way too late talking!! I got a little camera lazy over the weekend and only took a few pictures, here they are:
