Play time with Play doh!

Kiptyn received some new play doh accessories for Christmas, so the boys got some good play doh play time one afternoon! (Is it just me or were there a lot of "p"(s) and play in that last sentence?!)

On a side note; A funny conversation with Kieran today:

Kieran: "Will Chloe have clothes on?"

Me: "No, there are no clothes in my belly."

Kieran: "Well, maybe God will surprise you and give her some clothes!"

36 Weeks!

I'm 36 weeks along today! The ultrasound this morning showed Chloe weighing 6 lbs and she has lots of hair! The fluid is also low again so they will continue to monitor that each week. We have 3 weeks (or less) to go!

I love how Chloe's room turned out! Chuck painted the walls and then I've been adding the details---and now it's done---and ready for Miss Chloe!

Baby Shower Blessings

My friends and neighbors, Kathy and Sharyl, hosted a baby shower for me yesterday! It was a great time and so fun to have special friends and family there to celebrate the upcoming arrival of Chloe!

Last but not Least!

We were happy to host the Bear side of the family at our house on Saturday for our final Christmas gathering of the year! It was a great, relaxing day of eating together, opening gifts and chatting around the living room--and the cousins had a great time playing together!

This was the 1st time we were able to meet our new nephew! He's a little snuggle bug!

The Christmas decorations are put away for another 11 months and now we are getting ready for the arrival of baby girl! But, in the midst of all the Christmas celebrations, I pray that we were daily reminded of the reason for the celebrating! As Kieran said in a prayer the other night, "Thank you Lord for Jesus' Birthday and that He was born." Yes! Thank you for the wonderful gift of His birth and the eternal sacrifice for us! Happy New Year!!
