Cupcake Finale!

When Chuck and I were looking to buy our first house almost 5 years ago, little did we know about the great neighbors God would place in our lives! We have LOTS of kids on our street (and within a few blocks) and it's so great to have the kids play together, attend birthday parties together and share in a lot of fun times together! Of course, they have all been there since Chloe was born and they've held her as a baby and watched her grow up. This summer, she'll be walking the sidewalk to their house (holding our hand of course!) and watching out the window with her brothers after supper just waiting to go outside to play!

We were honored to have so many travel from out of town to help Chloe celebrate! We feel blessed!

I decorated 30 cupcakes at home and then transported them to Kansas! Only 2 cupcakes got their frosting a little "squished" on the way there---I would call that success!

This beautiful purple and yellow sampler was started by Chloe's great-great grandma and was finished by her grandma Shelia! A very special gift!

Winter Swimming...

This posting is way overdue, but I still wanted to share these fun pictures of friendship. We recently celebrated a friend's birthday with some indoor swimming and pizza! The kids had a blast together!! We're so thankful for the friendships we have made in our community!
