Hello Preschool!

Kiptyn had his 1st day of preschool yesterday!

He hung his backpack up, walked in, sat down and he was good to go!

I know he's going to have a lot of fun, learn so many new things and probably have a few "teachable moments" too!

Planes!

We took the boys to see the new Planes Movie on Sunday evening. This was Kiptyn's first time in a movie theater, so it was a pretty big deal!

 

A few nights before we went, big brother Kieran was telling Kiptyn all about the movie theater, "The screen is bigger than a TV and you get your own popcorn and pop!"

Our neighbor friend, Lucy, came with us!

Kiptyn covered his ears when the previews began because he thought it was too loud, but he got used to it. All the kids did great, sat still and watched the whole movie!

My dad's side of the family together for a celebration. Not exactly when this was...but, I know it was before Kieran was born! Special picture with both of my grandparents!

North Pole Memories

One of the things that my family did a few times when we vacationed in Colorado is visit the North Pole: Home of Santa's Workshop. I remember going here as a kid and also when I was a bit older and we took my younger cousins. So, of course, I wanted to take my kids to the North Pole while we were in Colorado!

The boys rode lots of kiddie rides...some of them 2 or 3 times!

Ironically, there was another little boy on this boat ride whose name was "Kiptyn" also!

Grandpa and Kieran riding together...this was Kieran's 2nd time on this ride!

Visiting Santa in his house! Kieran sat right on his lap and talked with him. Kiptyn and Chloe didn't quite know what to think about him...although Kiptyn had been talking all morning about wanting to go see Santa!

Later in the day we saw Santa in the park walking around and he looked at Kiptyn and said, "Hi Kiptyn." We were all pretty impressed that he remembered his name!

The kids had a blast at the North Pole and I'm so glad we were able to make some memories here...just like I did as a kid!

Colorado Vacation

What? Vacation you say?! Why, Yes!

We traveled to Colorado at the end of July!!

Attended the beautiful wedding of my 2nd cousin.

Hung out with lots of family!

Ate Fargo's Pizza (a must in Colorado!)

Visited Santa at the North Pole...blog post coming soon.

Traveled lots in the car...the kids did great!
