Zoo Day!

We spent some time at the Omaha Zoo last week with some of our friends!

CARS 2!!

Chuck and I took Kieran to see CARS 2 at the theater last week! This was his first time at an actual theater and we all had a great time on our special outing! Kieran sat through the whole movie and enjoyed his very own popcorn and pop!!

Fun on the Fourth!

We spent Fourth of July weekend with some of Chuck's family at his sister's house in Iowa. The boys had a blast playing with some of their cousins!

Kieran had to get up and drive all of the tractors and the semi!

Grandma brought drumstick ice cream!!

Climbing to the top of the BIG corn bin is a tradition!

After the kids went to bed at night, the adults stayed up (too late?) to talk, read the newspaper, relax and play the Wii!

Firecracker Favors!

Kieran helped me make some "firecracker" favors for the neighborhood kids! These are toilet paper rolls, decorated and filled with candy! (Thanks to my SIL Katie for the fun idea!)

We'll be celebrating the 4th of July holiday with some of Chuck's family. Stay tuned...

Splash Park!

We met some friends in Lincoln this week to play at a splash park! The temperature was HOT so it was a perfect day to get wet! We had never been to a splash park before and this one was free--which made it even better!!

Swimming in a Big Pool!

We took advantage of the hot weather and headed to a friend's pool this week for some swim time! The boys had a blast!

Kieran's fish floaty thing had a small air leak in it--can you tell?!

Kiptyn was content to just sit on the side most of the time!

Free Bowling!

We signed up for the "Kids Bowl Free" program online this year and a bowling alley near us participtes in it! So, the boys had their hand at throwing--or rolling--a few balls down the alley this week!
