Last weekend we made our first trip out to Vala's Pumpkin Patch! It was chilly and I had to bribe Chloe with fruit snacks to get her to wear her hat, but we had a good time.
My friend, Kari, and her two kids joined us for the fun! Our kids range in age, but the patch has something for everyone and I appreciated her kids letting my little kids be involved in their activity too!
Jumping Pillows...the first thing on the "to do" list!
Duck Races
Corn!
Kieran with the dragon...not sure who that other kid is in the picture :-)
Panning for gems!
We had never done this activity at the patch, it was thanks to my friend's son, Jarod, that the boys got some special rocks to take home!
Funnel Cake!!
Warm, greasy, powdered sugar goodness on a cool day!
Turkey leg!!
A new attraction this year, the Big Slide Ride!
Kiptyn wanted to ride the BIG train...which costs extra money..so we convinced him to ride the John Deere train and he was cool with that!
A warm pretzel!
Picking out a pumpkin!
Hello?
I guess we bring a stroller to haul pumpkins...not a kid! Silly us!
Thankful for this day with our good friends!
